The first SAMS with built-in air-to-air heat pumps!

Kwalis is known for inspiring projects at top locations with sustainable architecture. The latter is where we, Bao Living, can play a role. They contacted us for the development of three studios in the center of Leuven. Kwalis works with a personalized approach for each project, including a personalized team. As they say: “Quality within everyone's budget.”

The three studios, each measuring 33 square metres, were designed with our SAM. The SAM includes an interior bathroom unit and an exterior kitchen and closet space. This creates a separation between the bedroom and the living space, creating a spacious feeling. The studios are located in the Kortestraat in Leuven, nothing more in the center is possible. This street, with a lot of historical value, is located right next to the Grote Markt. The materials used in the studios are light and soft, so residents can escape the hustle and bustle of the city before stepping back into the cozy vibrancy of Leuven.

At SAM, furniture is just the beginning. We take prefabrication to a higher level by even integrating the entire arsenal of technology.

This project is also special to us because it is the first time that we use built-in air heat pumps in a SAM. Our SAM is fully equipped with all the necessary techniques, from heating and ventilation to water and electricity, and now also with air heat pumps. These are neatly hidden in the cabinets, providing a sleek look, just like a SAM should be!
