Hestia hires Bao for 6 new SAM apartments
This project includes the construction of an Art Deco apartment complex in Mol, where we installed SAMs in 6 of the 24 homes. The properties vary in type, with three one-bedroom apartments and two double-bedroom apartments.
Uitdagingen
Due to the ambitious architecture, it was essential to maximize the return on the rental units.
The client strived to make optimal use of the living space in these compact homes.
The realization of the project was subject to strict requirements in terms of energy sustainability.
Oplossingen
Thanks to the additional 12.3% living area and the smart built-in storage space, the client was able to increase the rental yield by 8% and all units were rented out within two hours.
Thanks to the SAM concept, usable living space was increased by 12.3%, without sacrificing comfort or functionality.
A complete NIBE heat pump and D ventilation system were integrated on less than 2 m², allowing us to meet the project's strict sustainability requirements.
