For episode 31 of the Bao Podcast, we invited Thomas Vandenbergh. He has a PhD in Engineering Sciences and is General Manager of Besix Technology and CEO of BESIX STAY. These 2 companies are part of the BESIX Group. BESIX is a renowned global player in the construction and real estate sectors, based in Brussels. It has already completed impressive projects such as the Burj Khalifa, the European Parliament and many others.
The construction sector is struggling with productivity. I think we can solve this by forming the ecosystems of companies that repeatedly do business with each other. Because now, people are trying to reinvent the wheel with every project by selecting new partners, renegotiating the terms,... We waste too much time creating a partnership in a project-oriented way.
